Louisa graduated from Falmouth University with a degree in Contemporary Crafts in summer 2012.
She takes her inspiration from the themes of erosion, decay, reconstruction and nostalgia. She allows the past to influence the way her designs take form allowing the past to be revealed in the present. She has always been interested in patterns and the revealing of layers and colours. By trapping colour in the plaster, eroding and then reconstructing, flashes of colour are revealed symbolising the hidden meanings and the beauty of the past.
